Why I Care

The Iron Dome is an impressive example of engineering optimization under constraints. It uses advanced real-time flight control systems and multi-sensor fusion to track and intercept incoming threats, all while maintaining cost-efficiency. One feature that stuck me is its decision-making algorithm, which calculates the impact point of hostile missiles and decides whether or not to intercept, saving resources. The integration of radar, electro-optical sensors, and autonomous guidance showcases how embedded systems and real-time computation can solve life-critical challenges.
